Aaron Swartz was an American computer programmer, entrepreneur, writer, political organizer, and Internet hacktivist. He was involved in the creation of RSS, the Markdown publishing format, Creative Commons, and web.py. He was the co-founder of social news aggregation, content rating, and forum social network Reddit, with Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian . He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame after his death in 2013.
