Adam Bakri is a Palestinian/Israeli Arab actor. His roles include the films Omar (2013), Ali and Nino , Slam (2018), Official Secrets , A Gaza Weekend , If You See Something , and All That’s Left of You ; and the mini-series Sohab El Ard .
He is the son of Leila and Mohammad Bakri (محمد بكري), who was an actor and film director. His father was born in Bi’ina, an Arab town in Israel, to an Arab Muslim family. His brothers are actor Saleh Bakri and actor and filmmaker Ziad Bakri. He was raised in Bi’ina. Adam is married to Lebanese-Canadian model and actress Cynthia Samuel.
Adam’s paternal grandfather has been described as an “early supporter” of the Israeli Communist Party.
