He is biracial, of Surinamese and Dutch descent. Afrojack is married to Italian television personality, heiress, singer, social media influencer, and socialite Elettra Lamborghini , who is the granddaughter of sports car manufacturer Lamborghini founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Afrojack has a daughter with his former partner, Dutch model Amanda Balk.
