Al Simmons, full name Aloysius Harry Simmons, was an American professional baseball player. An outfielder, he played for the Philadelphia Athletics, the Chicago White Sox, the Detroit Tigers, the Washington Senators, the Boston Bees, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was nicknamed “Bucketfoot Al.”
