Alaina Huffman is a Canadian actress and model. Her roles include the shows Painkiller Jane , Smallville , Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit , Stargate Universe , Supernatural , The 100 , and Riverdale , and the films Dog Lover’s Symphony , The Perfection , and Waltzing with Brando . She is also known as Alaina Kalanj.
She has four children with her former husband John Henry Huffman IV.
Alaina’s paternal grandfather was Ilija Anthony “Eli” Kalanj (the son of Anton Kalanj and Anna Bozic). Ilija was born in British Columbia, to Croatian parents. Anton was born in Lika-Senj, the son of Ilija Kalanj and Kathrin Mutabzija. Anna was born in Udbina, the daughter of Mile Bozic and Manda Samac.
Alaina’s paternal grandmother was Anna/Anku/Anka Barbara “Ann” Stojcic (the daughter of Nikola Stojcic and Jelena Vrozina). Anna was born in Yugoslavia, now Croatia. Nikola was born in Crikvenica, the son of Nikola/Mikula Stojcic and Marija Matejcic. Jelena was the daughter of Martin Vrozina and Cecilia.
Alaina’s maternal grandfather was Ronald G. L. “Ron” Heidema (the son of Reinhard/Reinhart Gerrit “Robert” Lambert Heidema and Carolina/Caroline Maria Elisabeth Hoogstra). Ronald was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Reinhart was born in Amsterdam, the son of Tobias Heidema and Gerda Rienharda Frantzen/Trantzen, who was German.
