Alaska Thunderfuck is an American drag queen and singer. He appeared on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race , and won the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars . He is a member of drag queen trio, musical ensemble, and comedy troupe The AAA Girls. He is also known as Alaska, Alaska 5000, and Alaska Thunderfuck 5000.

His father, Andrew Emile Honard, died in a motorcycle crash in 2022.

Alaska’s paternal grandfather was Jerome C. Honard (the son of Andrew Hubert Honard and Lillian F. Dickey). Jerome was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. Andrew was born in Erie, the son of John H. Honard, whose father was from Prussia, Germany, and whose mother was born in New York, to parents from Frohmuhl, Bas-Rhin, Alsace; and of Katharine A. She was French-Canadian, and also had distant English, Dutch, and Danish ancestry. Joseph was born in St. Leonard, the son of Ernest P. Nadeau and Celanie Michaud, whose families also lived in Maine. Alaska’s great-grandmother Marie-Louise was born in Québec, the daughter of Louis Bruno Bouchard and Alice Marie Pérusse.

Alaska’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Lawrence.
