Alex Kapranos is a Scottish musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and author. He is the lead singer and guitarist of Glasgow-based rock band Franz Ferdinand. He has also been part of supergroup FFS and indie supergroup BNQT. He is also known as Prince House Rabbit.
Alex was born in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England, and was initially raised in Sunderland. His family moved to Scotland at the age of seven. Alex is married to French musician Clara Luciani, with whom he has a son.
