AleXa (알렉사) is an American singer. She is based in South Korea, where she is a K-pop singer. In 2022, she represented her home state Oklahoma in NBC’s American Song Contest with the song “Wonderland,” where she won with 710 points. She is also known as Alex Christine (알렉스 크리스틴) and Kim Se-ri (김세리).
AleXa was born in Tulsa. Her father is from an Ashkenazi Jewish family. Her mother, Amy Collins, was adopted by white American parents, and was originally from Goyang, South Korea. AleXa debuted as a K-pop singer in 2019.
AleXa’s paternal grandfather was Marvin Schneiderman (the son of Harry Schneiderman and Irene Brunstein). Marvin was born in Bronx, New York. Harry was born in Roziu in Russia, or in Lithuania. Irene was Russian Jewish.
