Ali is the daughter of Elizabeth and Alex Fedotowsky. She was raised in North Adams and Williamstown, Massachusetts. She is married to television and radio host Kevin Manno , with whom she has two children.

Ali’s paternal grandfather was Leonide/Leonid Fedotowsky/Fedows-Fedotowsky (the son of Paul/Pavel Fedotowsky and Maria Prezwier/Mazprecnieks). Leonid was born in Riga, Latvia, and was an Orthodox Christian. Pavel was born in Riga, to a Russian father, Fedor Yakovlevich Fedotowsky, and a Ukrainian mother, Daria Fedorovna Konoval. Ali’s great-grandmother Maria was born in Liepaja, Latvia, the daughter of Samuel Mazprecnieks and Antonia, who herself was born in Königsberg, Germany, now Kaliningrad, Russia.
Ali’s paternal grandmother was Emily/Emilie Hauser (the daughter of Karl Hauser and Frieda Kubler). Emily was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and was at one a point a member of an Apostolic church.
Ali’s maternal grandfather was Richard Vincent Daly, Jr. (the son of Richard Vincent Daly and Maria Maddalena “Marie” Calamari). Ali’s grandfather Richard was born in Middletown, Connecticut. Ali’s great-grandfather Richard was born in Middletown, to Irish parents, Thomas J. Daly and Maria Doran. Maria was born in Harlem, New York, to Italian parents, Filippo Isidoro Calamari/Callamari and Luigia Angela Casella, who were from Cattaragna, Ferriere, province of Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna.
Ali’s maternal grandmother was Sylvia Sarah Giuditta (the daughter of Alfredo Emanuel “Alfred” Giuditta and Anna DiMaria/DiMarino). Sylvia was born in Connecticut, to parents from Summonte, province of Avellino, Campania, Italy. Alfredo was the son of Nicola Giuditta and Silvestra Marra.
