Alice Brady was an American actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for In Old Chicago (1937).

Alice was the daughter of Rose Marie (René) and William A. Brady (William Aloysius Brady), an actor, producer, and sports promoter. Her father was born in New York, to Irish parents. Her mother was born in Paris, France. She had a son with her former husband, actor James Crane.
