She was raised in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. Alyssa lives in Hong Kong. She is married to a pilot, with whom she has a daughter.
Alyssa’s paternal grandfather was named Vincent G. Campanella. Vincent had roots in Naples, Campania, Italy.
Alyssa’s paternal grandmother was Rosemarie M. Delvalle (the daughter of Manuel Del Valle y Rodriguez and Carmen Aurora Colon y Santiago). Rosemarie was born in New York, to Puerto Rican parents. There were listed as “white” on U.S. censuses. Manuel was the son of Canuto Del Valle Leon and Catalina Gandossa Rodriguez. Carmen was the daughter of Juan de Dios Colon and Eduvigis Santiago Rodriguez.

Alyssa’s great-grandmother Margaret was the daughter of Michael J. Wise, whose parents were Irish; and of Louise Clark, who was an English immigrant.
