Amy Locane is an American television and film actress. Her roles include the films Lost Angels (1989), Cry-Baby , School Ties , Airheads , Blue Sky , Carried Away (1996), Going All the Way , Prefontaine , Bongwater , Bram Stoker’s Legend of the Mummy , The Heist (2001), Secretary (2002), Bad Karma , and Throttle (2005); the shows Spencer , Hothouse , and Melrose Place ; and the made-for-tv movies End of Summer (1997), Ebenezer , Route 9 , Mystery Woman (2003), and Alien Express . She has been convicted of vehicular homicide and assault by auto.
Amy is the daughter of Helen and Michael Locane. The surname Locane is Italian. Amy graduated from Villa Victoria Academy, a Catholic private high school in Ewing Township, New Jersey. She has two children with her former husband, businessperson Mark Bovenizer.
