Amy Madigan is an American actress, producer, and singer. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Weapons (2025). She is the daughter of Dolores Helen, an administrative assistant and theatre actress, and John Madigan (John Joseph Madigan, Jr.), a journalist; her father provided commentary in Newsweek and on Meet the Press and Face the Nation , as well as hosted a radio show on WBBM (AM). She is married to actor and filmmaker Ed Harris , with whom she has a daughter.
