Ana Kasparian is an American political commentator, media host, and journalist. She is a host and producer of program The Young Turks . She previously hosted the shows The Point and Weekends with Ana Kasparian and Nando Vila .
Her parents, Zabel (Ayvazyan) and Misak Kirakos Kasparian, are of Armenian descent. Her great-grandparents survived the Armenian Genocide in 1915. She was raised in Reseda, Los Angeles. She is married to Minor League Baseball player, model, and actor Christian Lopez.
