Andrew Luck is an American professional football player. A quarterback, he played for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He is general manager at Stanford. He was previously assistant coach at Palo Alto HS (CA). He is 6′4″.
Andrew is the son of Mary Kathryn and Oliver Luck. His father is the Commissioner of the XFL, and was executive vice president for regulatory affairs at the NCAA, a quarterback at and Athletic Director of West Virginia University, and an NFL quarterback for the Houston Oilers.
Andrew is married to Nicole Pechanec, with whom he has a daughter.
Andrew’s paternal grandfather was William Austen Luck (the son of Alvin Addison Luck and Gertrude Klaue). William was born in Tennessee. Alvin was the son of William A. Luck and Ella S. Waugh. Gertrude was born in Hanover, Germany.
