Andy Bathgate was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A right wing, he played for the New York Rangers, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL), Ambrì-Piotta of the National League (NL), and the Vancouver Blazers of the World Hockey Association (WHA).
Andy was the son of Alma and Andrew Bathgate. His father was Scottish. He was married to Merle Lewis, until his death, with whom he had two children. His grandson is professional ice hockey player Andy Bathgate.
