Anna Mouglalis is a French actress and model. She starred as fashion designer Coco Chanel in the film Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky . She is also known for her roles in the films Merci pour le Chocolat , The Captive (2002), Novo , La Vie nouvelle , Playing ‘In the Company of Men’ , Strange Crime , Real Life (2004), Romanzo Criminale , Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life , Kiss of the Damned , Jealousy (2013), Leopardi (2014), Anna (2015), The Most Assassinated Woman in the World , as actress Paula Maxa; and Happening (2021); on the series Baron Noir , and in the made-for-tv movie Les Amants du Flore . She has been a house ambassador for Chanel since 2002.
Anna was born to a French mother, a physical therapist, and a Greek father, a doctor. She was raised in Var département and Nantes. Anna has a daughter with her former partner, director Samuel Benchetrit.
