Anquan Boldin is an American professional football player. A wide receiver, he played for the Arizona Cardinals, the Baltimore Ravens, the San Francisco 49ers, the Detroit Lions, and the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL).
Anquan is the son of Brenda Lee Banks and Carl Boldin. His brother is professional football player and coach DJ Boldin. He is a cousin of Corey Jones, who was shot and killed by a police officer in 2015, who was convicted of manslaughter. He is also a cousin of professional football player Joe Milton. Anquan has established the Anquan Boldin Foundation, the Q81 Foundation. He is a Christian.
Anquan’s paternal grandfather was Ned Augustus Boldin (the son of Robert Lewis Boldin and Ida Norflet). Robert was born in Alabama, the son of Robert Boldin and Emma Smith. Ida was born in Georgia, the daughter of Frank Norflet and Ceily Ann Terrell.
Anquan’s paternal grandmother was Annie Rae Floyd (the daughter of Earnest Floyd and Luetta Flemings).
