Anthony C. Ferrante is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has directed the made-for-tv movies Hansel & Gretel (2013), Sharknado , Sharknado 2: The Second One , Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! , Sharknado: The 4th Awakens , Sharknado 5: Global Swarming , and The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time ; directed and co-written the made-for-tv movies Headless Horseman and Great White Waters ; written the made-for-tv movie Red Clover ; and co-written the made-for-tv mvoie Ghostquake . He has also directed and written the film Boo (2005); written the film Scream of the Banshee ; and co-written the film House of Bones .

Frank was born in Pittsburg, Contra Costa, California, to Italian parents, from Isola delle Femmine, Palermo, Sicily. Antonio was the son of Pietro Ferranti and Maria Cardinali. Anthony’s great-grandmother Rosa was the daughter of Salvadore Aiello and Maddalena Bruno.
