Anthony Geary was an American actor. He was known for his roles on the soap opera General Hospital and in the films Johnny Got His Gun , Disorderlies , UHF , Scorchers , Teacher’s Pet , and Fish Tank .
He was married to Claudio Gama, until his death. His nephew is professional golfer Brendan Steele.
Anthony’s paternal grandfather was Austin Leo Geary (the son of Hyrum Phineas Geary and Isabelle Marie Gibby). Austin was born in Utah. Hyrum was born in Pennsylvania, the son of English parents, Edward Geary, from Leicestershire, and Elizabeth Ann Slater, from Derbyshire. Isabelle was born in Utah, the daughter of a Welsh father, John Gibby, and of an English mother, Ellen Olpin.
