Arda Turan is a Turkish professional footballer, and manager. A midfielder, he played for Galatasaray, Manisaspor, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, and Istanbul Başakşehir, and the Turkey national team. He manages Shakhtar Donetsk. He previously managed Eyüpspor.
Arda is the son of Yüksel and Adnan Turan. He is married to Aslıhan Doğan, with whom he has two children. He is a Muslim.
