Arin Ilejay is an American musician. He was the drummer of heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Other members of the band also include Johnny Christ , Synyster Gates , The Rev , M. Shadows , and Zacky Vengeance .
Arin’s paternal grandfather was Robert Edward “Bob” Ilejay, Sr. (the son of Juan “John” Iragana Ilejay and Mable Jiminez). Robert was born in California. Juan was born in Malinao, Capiz, present-day Aklan, Philippines, the son of Modesto Ilejay y Imperio and Catalina Iragana y Ignorancia. Mable was born in Arizona, and was of Mexican descent.
Arin’s paternal grandmother is named Delores Ann Galvan. Delores is either of Filipino or Mexican descent.
