Aron Tager was an American actor, poet, artist, and sculptor. He is particularly known for his performances on the show Are You Afraid of the Dark? , often as Dr. Vink. His roles also included the films Curtis’s Charm , The Third Miracle , Protection (2001), and The Echo (2008); the made-for-tv movies Blind Faith (1998), My Gentleman Friends , Rocky Marciano (1999), Santa Who? , and Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story ; and the shows Saban’s Adventures of the Little Mermaid , Urikupen Kyūjotai , Due South , Sirens , Goosebumps , Blazing Dragons , Donkey Kong Country , Nero Wolfe , Jane and the Dragon , Billable Hours , Lost Girl , Babar and the Adventures of Badou , The Adventures of Chuck and Friends , and The Stanley Dynamic .
His parents, Mildred (Liberman) and Alexander Tager, were Russian Jewish immigrants. He lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for much of his life. He was married to actress Ann Page, until his death.
