Arsenio Hall is an American talk show host, comedian, actor, voice actor, writer, and producer. He was the host of The Arsenio Hall Show from 1989 to 1994, and again, from 2013 to 2014. His roles include the films Coming to America , Harlem Nights , Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy! , Igor , Black Dynamite , and Coming 2 America ; the shows Elvira’s Movie Macabre , The Real Ghostbusters , Arsenio , and Martial Law ; and the made-for-tv movie The Proud Family Movie . He has also hosted the shows Star Search , The World’s Funniest Moments , and Greatest Hits .
Arsenio is the son of Annie and The Rev. Fred Hall, a Baptist minister, who was from Madison, Georgia. He has a son.
Arsenio’s paternal grandparents were born in Georgia.
