Bailee Madison is an American actress and singer. Initially a prolific child actress, she is known for her roles on the shows The Haunting Hour: The Series , Once Upon a Time , Trophy Wife , The Fosters , Good Witch , Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin , The Hardy Boys , and Pretty Little Liars: Summer School ; in the films Lonely Hearts (2006), Bridge to Terabithia , Look (2007), Phoebe in Wonderland , Brothers (2009), Letters to God , Conviction (2010), An Invisible Sign , Just Go With It , Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark , Cowgirls ‘n Angels , Parental Guidance , A Cowgirl’s Story , The Strangers: Prey at Night , A Week Away , A Cinderella Story: Starstruck , and Play Dead (2022); and in the made-for-tv movies Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh and Northpole . Her songs include “Kinda Fun.”
Her sister is actress and podcast host Kaitlin Riley. Kaitlin is married to actor Jordi Vilasuso. Bailee is a practising Christian.
She is a spokesperson for childhood cancer charity Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Bailee’s maternal grandfather was John Robert Williams (the son of John Francis Xavier Williams and Eileen/Aileen Margaret Sheehan). Bailee’s grandfather John was born in New York. Bailee’s great-grandfather John was born in New Hampshire, to Canadian parents, William John Williams and Mary Elizabeth Penney. Eileen was the daughter of John Aloysius Sheehan and Mary E. Keegan, and was of Irish descent.
Bailee’s maternal grandmother was Jean Dorothy Quaka (the daughter of Michael Joseph Quaka and Dorothy Smith). Jean was born in Connecticut. Michael was born in Connecticut, to Slovak parents, Michael Quaka and Dorothy Ann Pivovarnyik.
