Ben Zobrist is an American professional baseball player. A second baseman and outfielder, he played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays/Rays, the Oakland Athletics, the Kansas City Royals, and the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is nicknamed “Zorilla.”
Ben is the son of Cynthia and Thomas Zobrist. He has three children with his former wife, Christian musician Julianna Zobrist (born Julianna Joy Gilmore); who plays a Christian pop style of electronic dance music. He is a devout Christian.
Ben’s maternal grandfather is Andrew Cali III (the son of Andrew Cali II and Dorothy White). Ben’s great-grandfather Andrew was the son of Andrea Cali and Antonina Canale, who were Sicilian.
