Beverly Johnson is an American model, actress, singer, and businessperson. She is the first African-American model to be on the cover of Vogue magazine in the U.S. She has appeared in films including Ashanti , Def Jam’s How to Be a Player , and Crossroads (2002).
Beverly is the daughter of Gloria (Ledoux) and Henry Johnson, Jr. Her mother is pictured here . She has a daughter, Anansa Sims, with her former husband, businessperson and music producer Danny Sims. Anansa has two children with her fiancé, professional basketball player Matt Barnes .
