Bob is the son of Dora (Silva) and Dean Riley Burnquist. His father is American, from California. His mother is Brazilian, from Minas Gerais. Bob’s mother is pictured here . Bob has two children, including a daughter with his former partner, professional skateboarder Jen O’Brien.
Bob’s paternal grandfather was Charles Robert Burnquist (the son of Charles Edward Burnquist and Stella Byers Palmer). Bob’s grandfather Charles was born in Iowa. Bob’s great-grandfather Charles was born in Iowa, to parents from Sweden, Charles August Burnquist and Justina Eugenia Johnson. Stella was the daughter of George Palmer and Louella.
