Bob Feller was an American professional baseball player. A pitcher, he played eighteen seasons for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. He was nicknamed “The Heater from Van Meter,” “Bullet Bob,” and “Rapid Robert.”
Bob was the son of Lena Carolyn and William Andrew Feller. Both of his parents were born in Dallas, County, Iowa. Bob was married to Anne. He had three children with his former wife Virginia Winther.
