Boni Yanagisawa is an American actress and stunt performer. She is known for her roles in the films King of the Lost World , Déjà Vu (2006), Mr. Brooks , Flight (2012), and Cooties .

Her father is of Japanese descent. His mother is mostly of English, Irish, and Scottish descent.

Boni’s paternal grandfather was Tsuneo “Terence/Terry” Yanagisawa (the son of Yasunosuke Yanagisawa and Tome Muraoka). Terence was born in Hawaii, to parents from Japan.

Boni’s paternal grandmother was Iseko/Isela Kurokawa (the daughter of Kiroku Kurokawa and Omura Murakane). Iseko was born in ‘Umikoa, Hawaii. Kiroku was born in Japan. Omura was born in Hawaii, to Japanese parents, Nisuke Murakane and Ume.

Boni’s maternal grandfather was Floyd Arthur Barrett (the son of Arthur William Barrett and Iva Pearl Palmer). Floyd was born in Nebraska. Arthur was born in Nebraska, the son of Charles N. Barrett and Louisa Jane Burke. Iva was born in Iowa, the daughter of William John Alfred Palmer and Lillie Arminty Scott.

Boni’s maternal grandmother was Helen Rose Holcomb (the daughter of Levi William Holcomb and Elizabeth Mae Pratt). Helen was born in Massachusetts. Levi was born in Vermont, the son of William Henry Holcomb and Rose Laura Wyman. Boni’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was born in Massachusetts, the daughter of Jesse Horatio Pratt and Ida May Ransom.
