Brendan Boyle is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania, since January 3, 2015, and a Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, since January 3, 2023.
He is the son of Eileen, a crossing guard, and Francis Boyle, a janitor. His father was from Glencolmcille, County Donegal, Ulster, Ireland. His maternal grandparents were also Irish, from County Sligo. His brother is politician Kevin J. Boyle, who was a Member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was raised in Olney, Philadelphia. Brendan is married to Jennifer, a teacher, with whom he has a daughter.
