Brendan Wayne is an American actor and producer. He is one of the two body doubles for Din Djarin on the show The Mandalorian .

He is the son of actress Toni Wayne (born Mary Antonia Morrison) and Donald LaCava. His half-uncles are film producer and actor Michael Wayne, actor Patrick Wayne, and actor Ethan Wayne. His cousin is actress and musician Jennifer Wayne .

Brendan’s paternal grandfather was named Paul Joseph LaCava (the son of Paolo Francesco “Paul” LaCava, and of a mother surnamed Butanti). Paul was born in Borgia, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy. Paolo was born in Pietrapertosa, Potenza.

Brendan’s paternal grandmother was Angela Delores Viviano (the daughter of Gandolf/Gandolfo Viviano and Josephine/Giuseppa Tocco/Tozzo). Angela was born in Paterson, Passaic, New Jersey, to Italian parents, from Città Metropolitana di Palermo, Sicily. Gandolfo was the son of Salvatore Viviano and Josephine Di Longhi.

Brendan’s maternal grandfather was actor, director, and producer John Wayne (born Marion Robert Morrison, the son of Clyde Leonard Morrison and Mary Alberta “Molly” Brown). John was born in Winterset, Madison, Iowa. Clyde was born in Summer Township, Warren Co., Illinois, the son of Marion Mitchell Morrison, whose paternal grandfather was from County Antrim, Ireland; and Wealthy/Wealtha Chase “Weltha” Parsons. Clyde had English and Scots-Irish/Northern Irish ancestry. Brendan’s great-grandmother Mary was born in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska, the daughter of Robert Emmet Brown, who had Scots-Irish/Northern Irish ancestry; and of Margaret “Mary” Kennedy, who was an Irish Catholic, born in Ireland, likely in Cork.

Brendan’s maternal grandmother was Josephine Alicia Saenz (the daughter of José Santos Sáenz and Alicia P. Acosta). Josephine was born in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas, to Cuban parents. José was born in Pinar del Río, the son of José Sáenz Arrojo and Francisca de Macho, who were Spanish, with at least partial roots in Cantabria.
