Brett Goldstein is a British actor, comedian, podcaster, producer, and writer. He is known for playing Roy Kent on the show Ted Lasso , which he has also written for. He co-created and wrote for the shows Soulmates and Shrinking , the latter of which he has also starred on. His roles also include the shows The Bill , Derek , Ronna & Beverly , Drifters , Uncle , Hoff the Record , Catherine Tate’s Nan , which he also wrote for; Undercover , Drunk History , Harley Quinn , and Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock ; and the films The Comedian , The Knot (2012), Howl (2015), SuperBob , Adult Life Skills , The Garfield Movie , and All of You . He co-wrote SuperBob and All of You , as well as the film The Nan Movie .
His sister, Tara Goldstein Carr, co-founded School of Comedy in England.
