Brian Leetch is an American professional ice hockey player. A defenseman, he played for the New York Rangers, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), and for the U.S. national team.
Brian is the son of Janice and John Leetch.
Leetch’s maternal grandfather was David J. Dalke (the son of Isaac Dalke and Helena Koehn). David’s family were ethnic Germans from Russia and Ukraine. Isaac was the son of Maria Balzer Funk. Helena was the daughter of Cornelius Koehn and Wilhelmine Lehrman.
Leetch’s maternal grandmother was Catherine Mae Fuller (the daughter of Rae Azel Fuller and Cora Mae Cecil).
