Brianna Brown is an American actress and producer. Her roles include the shows Freaks and Geeks , Lost at Home , Shark , General Hospital , Homeland , Adults Only , True Blood , Dating Rules from My Future Self , Devious Maids , Graceland , NCIS: New Orleans , EastSiders , Dynasty , and Outer Banks ; the films Hollywood Homicide , Conversations with Other Women , National Lampoon’s Adam and Eve , Night of the Living Dead 3D , Timber Falls , The Lost Tribe , and The Evil Within ; and the made-for-tv movie Love’s Abiding Joy . She has also been billed by her full name Brianna Lynn Brown.

She was raised in Saint Paul’s Apple Valley suburb. She is married to film director Richie Keen, with whom she has a son.

Brianna’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Joseph Brown III (the son of Thomas Joseph Brown II and Loretta E. Wiel). Brianna’s grandfather Thomas was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brianna’s great-grandfather Thomas was the son of Irish immigrants, Thomas Joseph Brown and Catherine M. Dermond. Loretta was the daughter of Jacob Weil, whose parents were German; and of Susan Annie McCauley, who was born in England, to an Irish father, and to an England-born mother.

Brianna’s paternal grandmother was Regina Delores “Jean” Carlin (the daughter of Lawrence Francis Carlin and Anna V. Cooke). Regina was born in Pennsylvania. Lawrence was the son of Charles S. Carlin and Mary C. O’Toole, and had partly deep roots in the U.S. Brianna’s great-grandmother Anna was the daughter of Joseph Jesse Cooke, whose father was English; and of Jane E. Lynch, whose parents were Irish.

Brianna’s maternal grandfather was George Stavropoulo/Starr (the son of Emanuel Stavropoulo/Starr and Jolán “Lillian” Ambrús/Ambrose). George was born in New York City. Emanuel was born in either İzmir, Turkey, or Samos Island, Greece, and was of Greek descent. Jolán was a Hungarian emigrant, from Hidvégardó, Abaúj-Torna, the daughter of János Ambrús and Emma Öelschläger, who herself had German ancestry.

Brianna’s maternal grandmother was Bessie Owedia Arnold (the daughter of Alexander Lowry Arnold and Rosa Belle Erwin). Bessie was born in Pensacola, Florida, and had deep American roots. Alexander was the son of John D. Arnold and Mary Frances Lowry, whose own father was born in County Down, Ireland, to an Irish father and to a Norwegian mother. Brianna’s great-grandmother Rosa was the daughter of Simmon Baker Erwin and Laura Ann Givens.
