Britt Lower is an American actress.
Britt is the daughter of face painting artist Mickey Lower (born Mickey Knight) and Steven Lower.
Britt’s paternal grandfather was Merlin Duane Lower (the son of Harry Harold Lower and Letha Vivia Gillespie). Merlin was born in Normal, Illinois, and had partly deep roots in the U.S. Harry was the son of Leslie Lower and Barbara Remhart/Reinhart, whose father was from Alsace-Lorraine, and whose mother was born in Canada, to German parents. Britt’s great-grandmother Letha was the daughter of William Elmer Gillespie and Lottie Ann Hainline.
Britt’s paternal grandmother was Nellie Mae “Nell” Jones (the daughter of James D. “Jimmie” Jones and Laura E. Hamilton). Nellie was born in Cropsey, Illinois, and had deep lines in the U.S. James was the son of Sevier Jones and Henrietta Oliver. Laura was the daughter of James Thomas Hamilton and Evie Lane.
Britt’s maternal grandfather was Carl Howard Knight (the son of Chester Arthur Knight and Lena V. Dirksmeyer). Carl was born in Hamburg, Illinois. Chester was the son of Edward Knight and Margaret Caroline Turneus, whose parents were Belgian Flemish immigrants, from Brussels and Antwerp, respectively. Britt’s great-grandmother Lena was the daughter of William Rutger Dirksmeyer, whose parents were German; and of Hannah Virginia Foiles, who was mostly of German ancestry.
Britt’s maternal grandmother was Mabel Grace Kendall (the daughter of Harvey Ellis Kendall and Tina Belle Tedrow). Mabel was born in Pittsfield, Illinois, and had deep roots in the U.S. Harvey was the son of John Randolph Kendall and Harriett Alice Nichols. Tina was the daugher of George Tedrow and Charity Ann Reeder.
