Brody’s maternal grandfather was Clinton Emerson Wilcox (the son of Harley Emerson Wilcox and Mabel/Mable Alice Vilkie). Clinton was born in Pennsylvania. Harley was born in Pennsylvania, the son of James H. Emerson and Letitia M. Colton. Brody’s great-grandmother Mabel was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Joseph Eugene Vilkie and Frances/Francis Anne Burnot, who were both the children of French parents.
Brody’s maternal grandmother was Louise B. Patterson (the daughter of Fred Patterson and Laura Jane Allinger). Louise was born in Ohio. Fred was born in Ohio, the son of George Barker Patterson and Lois Francelia Watts.
