Bryan Brown is an Australian actor and author. His roles include the films Cathy’s Child , Breaker Morant , Give My Regards to Broad Street , F/X , and its sequel; Tai-Pan , The Good Wife (1987), Cocktail , Gorillas in the Mist , Blame It on the Bellboy , Two Hands , Grizzly Falls , Along Came Polly , Australia (2008), Kill Me Three Times , Gods of Egypt , Red Dog: True Blue , and Anyone but You , the mini-series The Thorn Birds , and the made-for-tv movie Kim (1984).
He is the son of Molly, a pianist and house cleaner, and John “Jack” Brown, a salesman. He is married to English actress, director, and screenwriter Rachel Ward , with whom he has three children, including actress, writer, and director Matilda Brown.
