Buck Showalter is an American professional baseball manager, player, and television analyst. He has managed the New York Yankees, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Texas Rangers, the Baltimore Orioles, and the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was also coach of the New York Yankees. He has worked as a commentator for ESPN and the YES Network.
Buck is the son of Lina and William Showalter, who was a high school teacher and principal, and had played college football. He was raised in Century, Florida. He is married to Angela, with whom he has two children.
