Calum Hood is an Australian singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the bassist, and a vocalist, of pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. The band is also known as 5SOS, and is particularly notable for its 2010s songs “She Looks So Perfect” and “Youngblood.” Its members also include Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings , and Ashton Irwin.
Calum is the son of Joy, who worked in superannuation, and David Hood, a Coca-Cola employee. He was raised in Mount Druitt. His sister is singer and songwriter Mali-Koa Hood.
