Cameron Scott Roberts is an American actor and musician. He stars as Jack in the film Scary Movie (2026). His roles also include the film Relative (2022) and the series Chicago Fire .
He is the son of painter Marianne Roberts and screenwriter and film director Jordan Roberts (born Bruce Robert Jordan), who wrote the English narration for March of the Penguins . His father is American. His mother is Danish. He is the grandson of screenwriter and producer Robert Samuel Jordan and actress Bobbi Jordan. His grandmother later re-married to television writer William David “Bill” Jacobson.
Cameron’s paternal grandfather was Robert Samuel “Bob” Jordan (the son of George Strong Jordan and Alice Cohen). Robert was born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. George was born in New York City, New York, the son of Irish-born parents, Thomas/William Jordan and Catherine Hamilton, who appear to have been from Belfast. Cameron’s great-grandfather George S. Jordan was buried at Westlawn, a Jewish cemetery in Chicago, so he may have converted to Judaism. Cameron’s great-grandmother Alice was born in New York City, the daughter of Abraham/Abram Cohen, a Russian Jewish immigrant; and of Anna Greene, who was an Austrian Jewish immigrant.
Cameron’s paternal grandmother was born Bobbie Carol Bartlett (the daughter of Elgin Grigsby Bartlett and Dixie Jones). Bobbie was born in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. Elgin was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, and was a restaurant manager. He was the son of James William Bartlett, Jr. and Minnie Francis Newcom. Dixie was born in Kentucky, the daughter of J. R. Jones.
