Carlos Alcaraz is a Spanish professional tennis player. He has a career high ranking in men’s singles by the ATP of world No. 1. He finished as year-end No. 1 in 2022 and 2025, and has won twenty-five ATP Tour singles titles, including two at the US Open, two Wimbledon Championships, two at the French Open, and the Australian Open. He is the youngest man to ever complete a Career Grand Slam.
Carlos is the son of Virginia Garfia Escandon and Carlos Alcaraz González, who was tennis academy director and coach at the Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia.
Carlos’ paternal grandfather is named Carlos Alcaraz González.
Carlos’ paternal grandmother is named Teresa “Paquita” Ozores.
