Carlos Arroyo is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player. A point guard, he played for Cariduros de Fajardo, Cangrejeros de Santurce, the Toronto Raptors, the Denver Nuggets, TAU Cerámica, the Utah Jazz, the Detroit Pistons, the Orlando Magic, Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Beşiktaş, Galatasaray, FC Barcelona, and Leones de Ponce.
He is married to Xiomara Escobar, with whom he has three children. His daughter, Gabriella Arroyo, has played college volleyball.
Carlos is said to be a cousin of actor Benicio del Toro .
