Carlos Ponce is a Puerto Rican actor, musician, model, and television personality.
He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the son of Esther Freyre and Carlos Ponce, who emigrated from Cuba after the revolution. After his birth, the family moved to Humacao, Puerto Rico, where Carlos was raised. In 1986, his family moved to Miami, Florida.
Carlos is married to Mexican television host Karina Banda. He has four children with his former wife, photographer Veronica Rubio. Veronica is the sister of politician Marco Rubio .
