Carly’s paternal grandfather was Arnold Chaikin (the son of Lester Chaikin and Gwendolyn Silverman). Lester was born in Russia, the son of Max Chaikin and Bessie. Gwendolyn was born in Illinois, the daughter of Sam Silverman and Becky Moss, who were from Russia.
Carly’s paternal grandmother was Rivian Rochelle Goldscholl (the daughter of Joseph Goldsholl and Harriett/Harriet Newberger). Rivian was born in Illinois.
