Cassie’s father is Murray Henderson, a rugby union player and coach. Her great-uncle, Wally Coe, was a welterweight boxer, and her great-great-uncle, Dick Dunn, was a boxing coach and cricketer.
Cassie’s paternal grandfather was Peter Henderson (the son of Andrew Duncan Henderson and Mary Ann Curtain). Peter was born in Hokitika, New Zealand. Andrew was the son of James Henderson, who was born in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland; and of Robena Henderson. Mary Ann was the daughter of Patrick Curtain and Honora Rowland, who was born in Sandhurst, Australia.
Cassie’s paternal grandmother was Lorraine Gertrude Coe (the daughter of Clem Clifford Coe and Lydia May Dunn). Lorraine was born in Wellington, New Zealand, to parents of English and Welsh descent. Clem was the son of Harold Sydney Coe and Louisa Hill. Lydia was the daughter of James Henry Dunn and Gertrude Charlotte Phillips.
