Cecil Cooper is an American professional baseball player, as well as coach, manager, and sports agent. A first baseman, he played for the Boston Red Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He also coached the Milwaukee Brewers and coached, and then managed, the Houston Astros.
He is the son of Ocie Mae and Roy Cooper. He is married to Octavia, and has three children.
