Celine Song is a Korean-Canadian director, playwright, and screenwriter. She has directed and written the films Past Lives , based on her life; and Materialists . She has also written for the show The Wheel of Time , and the plays Endlings and The Seagull on The Sims 4 .
She was born in South Korea, the daughter of filmmaker/artist Song Neung-han, and a mother who is also an artist. Her family moved to Markham, Ontario, Canada, when she was twelve. Celine is married to American playwright and novelist Justin Kuritzkes.
