She was raised in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.
Chloe’s paternal grandfather was John Gilpin Troast (the son of Paul Lyman Troast and Eleanor Leticia Mahony). John was born in Passaic, New Jersey. Paul was born in Saddle River Township, New Jersey, the son of Jacob Aaron Troast, whose parents were Dutch, from Stellendam and Goedereede, respectively; and of Catharine Lyman, who was born in New Jersey, also to Dutch parents, from Ouddorp, South Holland. Chloe’s great-grandmother Eleanor was born in New Jersey, the daughter of Irish parents, Dennis Wallace Mahony/Mahoney, who was from County Cork, and Leticia Finn, who was from Portarlington, County Laois.
