Choi Woo-shik is a Korean-Canadian actor. He is known for starring in Bong Joon-ho’s film Parasite (2019). His roles also include the films Secretly, Greatly ; Set Me Free , Big Match , In the Room , Train to Busan , Okja , The Princess and the Matchmaker , The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion , Monstrum , Rosebud , Time to Hunt , The Policeman’s Lineage , and Wonderland (2024); the series The Duo , Living in Style , Deep Rooted Tree , Special Affairs Team TEN , Rooftop Prince , Family , You Are My Destiny , Pride and Prejudice , Hogu’s Love , My Fantastic Funeral , The Package , Our Beloved Summer , A Killer Paradox , Melo Movie , and Would You Marry Me ; and the reality shows Law of the Jungle in Nicaragua , Summer Vacation , Youn’s Stay , In the Soop: Friendcation , and Jinny’s Kitchen . He is also credited as Woo-sik Choi and Edward Choi.

He was born in Seoul, and moved to Canada when he was five, being raised heavily in British Columbia, specifically Coquitlam. He has acted mostly in South Korean films. He uses the English name Edward.
